I was very sad when I heard the news of Whitney Houston’s death on Saturday. I have fond memories of her songs and one in particular was a true inspiration to me. That song is One Moment in Time. I aspired to be a world-class runner myself and love watching the Summer Olympics including the 1988 games. I never achieved my own Olympic goal but ran my heart out nonetheless. I listened to this song before every big race in high school. Thanks Whitney for the positive impact you had on my life.
